Masterclass: Submissions and Arguments (Tuesday 14 October 2025)

When appearing in court or before a tribunal, the way you prepare and present your submissions and arguments can significantly impact your client’s case. Beyond merely complying with court rules, your primary objective is to persuade the judge or decision-maker to rule in your client’s favour. Achieving this requires clarity, logical reasoning, evidence-based arguments, and a strong foundation in legal precedents.

Join us for an interactive, online two-hour masterclass, led by advocacy expert and trainer, Fiona Donnelly. This workshop will equip you with the skills to make compelling submissions and legal arguments in court. You will learn how to construct logical, persuasive arguments based on legislation, case law and rules of procedure, and how to address judicial concerns. The masterclass will also explore how to present using practice drills and advocacy opportunities to enhance your ability to outline facts in simple narrative form. You will be given a pre-prepared case study to apply your learning to and will receive personalised feedback from Fiona.

Take this opportunity to improve your confidence in court by learning through doing. Gain insights from your own performance and the feedback provided to your peers. Book your place now to enhance your advocacy skills and ensure your success in the courtroom!

The masterclass will be held on Tuesday, 14 October 2025, between 12pm and 2pm. Agenda coming soon.
